Motley-Dickens Old Settlers Memorial Scholarship Application | The Motley – Dickens Old Settlers Association will be awarding two (2) scholarships to graduating seniors in Motley and Dickens Counties. One scholarship will be awarded in each county to a recipient selected by the board. |
Spur Masonic Lodge Scholarship | |
Class of 1971 Memorial Scholarship | Established in memory of classmates of the Class of 1971. The one‐time scholarship of $500.00 is designated to help pay for post‐high school studies and/or expenses involved in attending post‐high school studies. |
Ex-Student Scholarship | Provided by the Ex-Student Association. |
John F. Moore Scholarship | The John F. Moore Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to a high school senior that is conscientious and in financial need. |
Capital Farm Credit Scholarship | One $1,000 one-time scholarship awarded to an individual from a Dickens, Kent, Stonewall, or King County High School. |
Pete Dobbins Memorial Scholarship | Awarded to a Spur High School graduating senior. A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded this year. |
Caprock Peace Officers' Association | Future students who will attend college, university or vocational school. Can also be students currently enrolled in higher education so check back next year and apply again. |

Duck Creek SWCD | 1-$1000 Scholarship to graduating senior or graduate of Spur or Patton Springs. |

Debbie Daughtry Memorial Scholarship | This Debbie Daughtry Memorial Scholarship is restricted to Spur High School graduates who are education majors and are in their junior or senior year of college (at least 60 hours of college credits). |

Our applications are available to apply online. Students will need to sign up to be able to submit their applications. They will not accept paper applications.
Maude A. Brown Scholarship(use link above)
This scholarship was established by the Maude A. Brown Scholarship Trust Fund. The scholarship is to be awarded to a graduating Spur High School student who will be furthering their education at the post-secondary level. Preference shall be given to a student who will be majoring in Education.

Association of Texas Leaders for Education Scholarship(use link above)is for a Texas resident graduating senior who will be attending a Texas school to pursue a secondary education. (DEADLINE: March 15)
Fallen Heroes Scholarship(use link above)is to assist with educational expenses of dependent survivors of service men and women and first responders who have died on active duty since September 11, 2001. (DEADLINE: Open)
Girl Scouts Gold Award Scholarship(use link above)This scholarship was established by Frances Winn for a graduating senior who has achieved the level of Gold Award with the Girl Scouts organization. Preference will be given to Lubbock Co. High School seniors then open to graduating seniors from Texas-Oklahoma Plains schools. (Deadline to apply: May 1)
Danny Gunn Memorial Scholarship (Texas Area 1 FFA Schools)(use link above)This scholarship was established by Melinda Gunn in memory of Danny Gunn, a dedicated agriculture teacher and FFA advisor. Danny Gunn was proud of his students’ accomplishments and throughout his life impacted innumerable lives throughout his teaching career. Eligible students must be a graduating senior at a Texas Area 1 FFA High School with a GPA of 3.5 or higher, member of FFA in High School, and attending Texas Tech University or Texas A&M University.
